With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle getting ready to welcome their first child soon, royal fans are getting more excited with each passing day!
The baby hasn’t even been born yet, and it is constantly being speculated as to who the godparents will be, how Meghan and Harry will raise Baby Sussex, and whether Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, will live with the Duke and Duchess in their new home in order to help out with her first grandchild.
There is so much anticipation, and fans can’t help but wonder if Baby Sussex will be an even bigger celebrity than the children of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Kate was low-key about each one of her pregnancies
Fans will recall that each time Kate was pregnant, it took her quite some time to make the happy announcement to the world. She went to great lengths to keep each pregnancy a secret for as long as possible, using tactics to divert everyone’s attention, such as changing up her hairstyle. It seemed that with each child, Kate covered up her blossoming baby bump until she simply could not hide it anymore.
Even after the announcement was made, Kate never went out of her way to call attention to the fact that she was expecting a child, and she and Prince William never seemed to talk about it with anyone.
Kate did not have a baby shower
It is well-known that baby showers are actually more of an American tradition, and Kate did not have one. While she may have had a small, quiet gathering with close friends and family behind palace doors, it certainly did not garner nearly as much attention as the star-studded New York City shower that was held in Meghan’s honor.
This is just another one of the ways that Kate kept her pregnancy a little more low-key.
Meghan’s family drama is bringing more attention to the upcoming baby
With all of the family drama that Meghan is experiencing, it is calling more attention to the fact that she and Harry are expecting their first child.
Everyone is wondering if her sister, Samantha Markle, will continue the drama after the baby arrives and if Meghan’s father will have a relationship with the child. Kate’s family did not speak publicly about the arrival of any of the Cambridge children.
Meghan has fans in America and in England
While all of America certainly loves Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle lived quite the fairy tale when she moved to London to marry her Prince!
Having already made a name for herself in America as a successful actress, Meghan has fans in both countries waiting on the edge of their seats for the arrival of Baby Sussex. Since Meghan has ties to the United States, it may be that the anticipation is running just a little deeper.
The world will be watching when the baby is born
The amount of attention that Baby Sussex will receive when he or she arrives is sure to be quite overwhelming. Fans around the world will be waiting to catch a glimpse of the new royal baby, and the attention is sure to last for a while. Everyone will want to learn as many details as they can about the child of Meghan and Harry. However, with the couple planning to move to Windsor, outside of London, their baby will be living a much quieter life outside of the spotlight.
He or she probably won’t be photographed or watched nearly as much as the Cambridge children. While the entire world will absolutely have equal amounts of love for the Cambridge’s as well as baby Sussex, it is highly unlikely that Meghan and Harry’s child will live a celebrity-style life!
