Motley Crue, The Who Score 'Stranger Things' Season Three Trailer - Loudwire

The trailer for season three of Stranger Things has dropped and it’s scored by music from Motley Crue and The Who. The ‘80s-inspired horror series will return to Netflix on July 4.

Stranger Things debuted in 2016 to mass acclaim, telling childhood tales in the vein of Stephen King and Stephen Spielberg. Set in the mid-80s, the show has often featured heavy metal from the hair/glam era, so fittingly, Motley Crue’s “Home Sweet Home” is the first song that appears in the trailer.

Along with a classic Crue cut, the season three trailer prominently features the “Confidentialmx Remix” of The Who’s “Baba O’Riley.”

The trailer also features one of the scariest monsters from “The Upside-Down” we’ve seen yet. The radiated creature is almost shapeless, growling a mouth full of sharp teeth and stringy saliva.

“We’re not kids anymore,” says Mike Wheeler (played by Finn Wolfhard). “I mean, what did you think? We were just going to sit in my basement all day?”

Check out the Stranger Things trailer above and catch season three in its entirety on July 4.
